Freezer meal: Mom's Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients

  • 120 oz tomato sauce
  • 24 oz tomato paste
  • 24 oz(+) water
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 6-8 cloves of garlic, pressed
  • 3/4 C chopped parsley
  • 3/4 C chopped basil
  • 6 T oregano
  • 3 T sugar
  • salt & pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Brown beef, add garlic, basil, parsley, & oregano. Add tomatoes, water, sugar, salt & pepper. Cover and let simmer for 2+ hours.

**I highly recommend adding 4 small cans of chopped mushrooms to this recipe.
