Blueberry Buttermilk Muffins or Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 1/2 t. baking powder
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 t. salt
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 lb. butter,melted
  • 1 3/4 c. fresh blueberries

Preparation

Step 1

In a lge. bowl, sift together all dry ingredients. Make a well, add buttermilk, eggs, butter. Mix well. Fold in berries.

Topping: 1 c. brown sugar
1 c. chopped nuts

Put over muffins or bread.

Bake at 400 degrees.
20 mins. for small bread pans/muffins
30-35 mins. for reg. bread pan
