Ingredients
- 2 envelopes onion soup mix
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 cup ketchup
- 2 cup water
- 1 cup vinegar (cider)
- 3/4 cup oil
- 4 Tbl dry mustard
- 4 slices lemon
- 1 tsp salt
- green peppers
- small onions
- mushrooms
- tomatoes
- (meat tenderizer)
Preparation
Step 1
mix all marinade ingredients and bring to a boil
simmer for 20 minutes, cool
add tenderized meat and marinate overnight in refrigerator
thread skewers alternating meat and vegs, broil, heat the remaining marinade and baste often while broiling
2 skewers per person, if wooden skewers, soak in water first
