Ingredients
- HERB MUSTARD:
- 2 well trimmed boneless beef top loin or rib eye steaks, 1" thick
- 2 large cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 tsp water
- 2 Tbl dijon mustard
- 1 tsp dried basil leaves
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme leaves
Preparation
Step 1
in a glass measure combine garlic & water; microwave for 30 seconds on High
stir in remaining ingredients; spread onto both sides of beef steaks
place steaks on grid over medium ash-covered coals. Grill top loin steaks uncovered 16-18 min. (rib eye steaks 12-14 min) for medium rare, turning occasionally
season steaks with salt, carve crosswise into thick slices
