freezer jam

Ingredients

  • crush four pints of strawberries
  • 8 cups sugar
  • 2 1.75oz. pkgs. pf pectin(suregell)

Preparation

Step 1

stir sugar into berries
stir pectin into 1 and 1/2 cups hot water and bring to boil and boil two minute stirring constantly
stir into berries until sugar is dissolved
pour into clean containers
let stand 24 hours to set


store in fridge for up to three weeks or in freezer for a year
