Ingredients
- 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
- 3 Tbsp water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp basil
- 1/4 tsp thyme
- 1 pkg (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls
- 3/4 pound ground beef
- oregano
- 1 pkg (6 oz) mozzarella cheese, finely diced or grated.
Preparation
Step 1
Combine tomato paste, water, salt, garlic salt, worcestershire, basil & thyme; set aside. Divide package of rolls into 8 pieces, rather than crescents. Roll each into a 4 1/2 inch round on a lightly floured pastry cloth. Place in a jelly roll pan. Top with ground beef, divided evenly. Spoon tomato mixture over meat; sprinkle each round with oregano. Sprinkle cheese over all. Bake at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes or until brown.
