Gingerbread Cookies

From Mom. Leave time for dough to be in fridge overnight.

Ingredients

  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 c oil
  • 1 c molasses
  • 1 c hot water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 t soda
  • 1 heaping t ginger
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 4 c flour
  • 2 c whole wheat flour

Preparation

Step 1

Combine sugar, oil, molasses, hot water, and eggs. In separate bowl mix together rest of ingredients. Combine all together.
Chill dough OVERNIGHT. Roll and cut.
Bake at 350 for 8 minutes
