Ingredients
- 1 1/4 c. sweet butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 c finely ground almonds
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 c light cream
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- rasberry jam
Preparation
Step 1
Work butter until cremy, stir in sugar gradually and beat till fluffy. Stir in almonds, vanilla, cream then the flour. Turn out on a lightly floured poard and knead for 5 min. Let dough awhile then roll dough out 1/8-1/4" on a lightly floured board. Cut with 2 1/2" cookie cutter. lace on ungreased baking sheet and bake till lightly browned. Remove to rack and cool. Later spread 1/2 the cookie with jam and top with powered sugar.
