Ingredients
- 1 5 oz. can water packed tuna, well drained
- 1/4 C diced tomato
- 2 T minced red onion
- 1 T chopped Kalamata olives
- 1 T chopped dill
- 1 1/2 t red wine vinegar
- 1 t EVOO
- 1 slice prosciutto, finely minced
- Kosher salt & ground pepper
- 2-4 slices boule type bread
- 3 oz finely grated Comte, Emmentaler or Gruyere cheese
Preparation
Step 1
Heat broiler on high.
In med bowl, combine tuna, tomato, red onion, olives, dill, vinegar, olive oil, prosciutto, salt & pepper.
Put bread on rimmed baking sheet & broil until nicely toasted. Remove from broiler, flip bread over & spread tuna mixture evenly over each slice. Top with cheese & broil until cheese is melted, 1-2 min.
