Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup margarine
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 tsp almond
- 2 3/4 cups flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 6 oz. chocolate
- 1 tsp cream of tartar
- Powdered sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Mix 1 ½ cup powdered sugar and margarine. Beat at medium until cream (1-2 mins) Add egg and almond, continue beating until well-mixed (1-2 min) Reduce speed to low. Add flour, cream of tartar and baking soda. Continue beating, scraping bowl often until well mixed (1-2 min)
Cover, refrigerate 1 hour. Shape into 1” balls. Roll balls into 2” ropes; shape into crescents. Place on cookie sheets and bake for 8-10 min or until set. Cookies do not brown.
Cool completely.
Frost each half with chocolate and sprinkle other half with powdered sugar. Refrigerate until set.
Bake at 375
