Ingredients
- 1/3 pound bacon
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup celery
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 3 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 cup sliced carrots
- 1 cup peas
- 1/2 bay leaf
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 tablespoons fresh parsley
Preparation
Step 1
sasute, drain and crumble bacon. add onion and celery to bacon drippings and cook until tender. simmer and thicken with flour, stirring until smooth. add, salt, pepper, chicken broth, cabbage, carrots,peas, and bay leaf. cook until vegetables are tender. remove nay leaf. stir in sour cream, fresh parsley and serve.
