Pepper Relish

Ingredients

  • 12 red bell peppers
  • 12 green bell peppers
  • 6 large onions
  • 3 cups vinegar
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt

Preparation

Step 1

Remove seeds from peppers. Grind peppers and onions. Scald in boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain. Scald in boiling water again for 5 minutes and drain. Add vinegar, sugar and salt. Cook for 20 minutes. Place in sterilized jars and seal.
