mushroom marsala

Ingredients

  • 2 cups assorted mushrooms
  • 2 cups marsala sauce
  • 1 bouillion cube
  • 2 tbso butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped red pepper
  • 1 box penne pasta
  • 1 cup whole cream
  • 2 tsps basil
  • 1 tsp pepper

Preparation

Step 1

boil water for pasta. in the meantime, melt the butter in a separate pan and add the marsala sauce
once the butter and sauce come to a simmer add the mushroom. one the mushroom begin to wilt add the onions and re pepper.
add the penne and bouillion cube to the boiling water. once the pasta is cooked, drain and let it sit
add cream, basil and pepper to the mushrooms, onions and red pepper.
toss all the ingredients together with pasta and serve
