Orange Buttermilk Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 20-oz. can crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 pkg. orange Jell-O
  • 2 cups buttermilk*
  • 1 8-oz. container whipped topping

Preparation

Step 1

In saucepan, bring pineapple with juice to a boil. Stir in Jell-O until dissolved. remove from heat; stir in buttermilk. Cool to room temperature. Fold in whipped topping. Pour into 2-quart serving dish.

Chill for at least 4 hours.

*Buttermilk substitute: 2 tablespoons lemon juice and enough milk to make 2 cups.
