Pasta with Crab

Ingredients

  • ¼ lbs. of butter
  • 2 TBSPS shallots chopped
  • 2 TBSPS fresh basil or
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 2 TBSPS fresh parsley
  • 3-14oz cans chopped tomatoes drained
  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • 1 ½ lbs. mock crab
  • Vermicelli or any fine pasta
  • Parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

In a large skillet, melt butter and sauté shallots, basil and parsley for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in tomatoes and heat to boiling. Cook until reduced by half. Add wine and simmer 5 minutes. Add crab and simmer 2 to 3 minutes serve over pasta. Serves 6
