Southwest Salsa Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 package (8oz) crescent rolls
  • 1 package (8oz) cream cheese softened
  • 1 garlic clove pressed
  • 1/4 c snipped fresh cilantro or parsley divided
  • 3 plum tomatoes, seeded and diced
  • 1/4 c chopped green bell pepper
  • 2 tbsp chopped red onion
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 ripe avacado peeled, pitted and thinley sliced

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Unroll crescent dough and divide into 8 triangles. Arrange on a large round stone with triangles in a circle with points in center and wide ends out. Roll out dough to a 12 in. circle pressing seams together to seal.
Bake 12 - 15 minutes or until light golden brown. Remove from oven and completely cool

Place cream cheese, pressed garlic and 2 tbsp of cilatro in a bowl and mix well. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over top of crust.

Seed and dice tomatoes , chop bell peppers and red onion, add remaining cilatro and season with salt and pepper. Spread salsa mixture over cream cheese mixture and place sliced avacado on top.
