Vegetables - Green Chilies and Rice

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rice (do not use instant rice)
  • 2 cans chopped green chilies
  • 2 cartons sour cream
  • 2 cans cream of celery soup
  • grated cheddar cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Cook rice. Add juice from green chilie peppers to sour cream and stir in the undiluted celery soup. Add cooked rice to sour cream and soup and fold together. Place layers of rice mix, chilies and then cheddar cheese in casserole dish and bake for 30 minutes at 325 degrees
