Ingredients
- Cake:
- Chocolate fudge cake mix
- 1/2 gallon ice cream (vanilla)
- Hot fudge sauce:
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 4 sq. unsweetened chocolate
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
Step 1
Make cake according to directions. Cool as directed in pan (for 10 minutes then dump). Cut in ½ horizontally. Bottom ½ back in pan. Slice ice cream. Put the ice cream on the bottom ½ of the cake. Put the top ½ cake on top of the ice cream. Put in the freezer. Make sauce and put on the cake as you are serving. Top with whipped cream.
