Ingredients
- Cake:
- 1/4 lb butter/margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tbs cream
- 1 heaping tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 pint (1 cup) sour cream
- Crumble:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbs butter
- 1 tbs flour
Preparation
Step 1
Batter:
Beat butter and sugar mixture
Add eggs and vanilla, beat until smooth
Combine dry ingredients separately
Add 1/2 dry mixture to butter mixture.
Add sour cream and beat about 2 minutes
Add all ingredients and beat until smooth
Crumble:
Combine all ingredients thoroughly.
Assembly:
Pout 1/2 cake mixture into well greased pan that has been floured. Sprinkle topping in middle and add another layer of batter. Top with crumble. Bake 350 degrees F for 40 minutes.
