Ingredients

  • Cake:

  • 1/4

    lb butter/margarine

  • 1

    cup sugar

  • 2

    eggs

  • 1

    tsp vanilla

  • 2

    cups flour

  • 2

    tbs cream

  • 1

    heaping tsp baking powder

  • 1

    tsp baking soda

  • 1/2

    tsp salt

  • 1/2

    pint (1 cup) sour cream

  • Crumble:

  • 1/2

    cup sugar

  • 1/2

    cup chopped nuts

  • 1/2

    tsp cinnamon

  • 2

    tbs butter

  • 1

    tbs flour

Directions

Batter: Beat butter and sugar mixture Add eggs and vanilla, beat until smooth Combine dry ingredients separately Add 1/2 dry mixture to butter mixture. Add sour cream and beat about 2 minutes Add all ingredients and beat until smooth Crumble: Combine all ingredients thoroughly. Assembly: Pout 1/2 cake mixture into well greased pan that has been floured. Sprinkle topping in middle and add another layer of batter. Top with crumble. Bake 350 degrees F for 40 minutes.
