Ingredients
- 1 can ( 8 ounce) whole water chesnuts
- .5 lb. bacon
- 3 Tb. molasses
- 3 Tb. soy sauce
- 1 Tb. worcestershire sauce
Preparation
Step 1
Cut any large water chesnuts into bite-sized pieces. Cut bacon into half strips. Wrap each water chesnut in a strip of bacon; secure with a toothpick. Combine molasses, soy sauce and worcestershire sauce; pour over water chesnuts. Marinate at least 1 hour. Drain off excess marinade; place wraps on broiler rack 3 inches from heat. Broil 8-10 minutes, turn occasionally until bacon is crisp. Serve warm.
