Ingredients
- 2 lbs. hamburger
- 3 cans chicken broth
- 1 pkg. matchstick carrots
- 1 med. onion, chopped
- Basil, chopped
- Parsley, chopped
- Butter
- 1 bag chucked hash browns
- 3 or 4 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 lb. Velveeta cheese
- 24 oz. sour cream
- 1 1/2 to 2 cups. milk
- 2 Tb. flour
Preparation
Step 1
Brown hamburger and add broth; bring to boil. Sauté the carrots, onion, parsley, and basil in butter until carrots are about done. Put sautéed mixture in large soup pan; add hamburger and broth. Then add milk and flour for thickening. Add Velveeta cheese and stir until melted. Add sour cream; stir in just before serving.
