Hot Milk Cake

Ingredients

  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 2 cups Sifted Cake Flour
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 cup Hot Milk
  • 2 tbsp Margarine

Preparation

Step 1

-Grease and flour cake pan.
-Sift together flour, salt, baking powder (set aside).
-Heat milk, melt margarine in milk (do not let boil).
-Beat eggs on speed #12 for 1 minute until light and thick.
-Slowly add vanilla and sugar, beating for 3 minutes (mixture will be very light and thick).
-Turn speed to #2.
-Fold dry ingredients in egg mixture, add milk mixture and fold.
-The addition of flour and milk should not take longer than 1 minute (ONE minute).
-Pour into prepared pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
