Giblet Broth for gravy

Ingredients

  • Giblets
  • 1 quart water (minimum)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 4 peppercorns
  • 2 cloves
  • Bay leaf
  • small onion

Preparation

Step 1

1. Wash giblets and neck.
2. Cover all except liver with water. Add remaining ingredients and bring to boil. reduce to simmer.
3. Add liver for the last 10 minutes.
