Ingredients
- 4-6 oz. extra lean sirloin tips
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp. honey
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
- 1 tsp. jalapeno or hot pepper of choice, diced
- 1/2 lime, juiced
- 1 Tbs. grape seed oil
Preparation
Step 1
Trim any excess fat off of sirloin tips and place in a bowl. Mix remaining ingredients together in a separate bowl. If desired you can puree them in a food processor to thoroughly mix them or just pour the mixture from the bowl directly on to meat. Toss to make sure all pieces are evenly covered. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and allow to chill for at least 30 minutes to marinade.
To Grill: Remove pieces of sirloin from bowl and place on wooden skewer and cook over medium heat for 5-10 minutes, turning several times until browned on all sides and cooked through.
On Stovetop: Spray a skillet with non-stick cooking spray. Add marinated sirloin from bowl into skillet and cook on medium-high, stirring constantly to brown on all sides. Continue cooking/stirring for about 7 minutes until evenly browned and cooked through.
