LORRAINE'S PEANUT BUTTER PIE

  • 1 cup confectioner's sugar
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 large egg yolks
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 teaspoon butter

Preparation

Step 1

Blend confectioner's sugar and peanut butter ,spread and press all but 1/4
cup into baked pie shell, set aside.
Combine in sause pan sugar ,cornstarch ,milk and egg yolks ,cook over med heat until tick. add butter and vanilla, pour over pie, top with beaten
egg whites .sprinkle with peanut mixture, and bake until brown on top.
