Butterhorns

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 1/2 lb. butter (don't substitute)
  • Cut or mix with fingertips
  • Add 3/4 cup sour cream and mix well. shape into a ball and chill several hours.
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Sprinkle board with flour.
Divide dough into 3. Roll each portion one at a time making a circle 1/8' thick.
Sprinkle sugar/nut mixture.
Cut 12 wedges.
Roll each starting with the widest edge.

Bake lightly greased cookie sheet 375 20-30 min.

Much improved the next day.
