Vegetable Beef Soup

  • Ground beef or stew meat
  • Dry onion
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • 3 cans beef broth
  • 2/3 c. milk, optional
  • 1 pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
  • pasta

Preparation

Step 1

Put the ground beef in a stock pot, add the onion, salt and pepper and brown the beef. Once the beef is browned, add the flour and stir until all lumps are gone and the mixture is smooth. Cook a minute or two. Add the broth and milk if desired (the milk makes it more creamy). Add the vegetables and cook for five to ten minutes. Add more broth or water as desired and some pasta to taste.
