This recipe came from Christena & Mary from a ski trip many, many years ago. Tremblant or Mount Ste. Anne actually.

Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 big carrots- cut in 4
- 2 onions-cut in 4
- 4 potatoes- cut in 4
- 1 yam
- 1 1/2 cups cubed turnip
- 4 cups chicken stock
- 1/2 tsp. sage
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 stalks celere- cut in 4
- 1/2 cup frozen peas & corn
Preparation
Step 1
Bring to a boil all except peas & corn in large dutch oven pot. Then simmer for 20 mins. Then.....
2 tbsps flour mixed with cold water in shaker...shake...stir in stew
Then add peas & corn.
Dumplings
1 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsps. butter
Mix in cuisinart...then into bowl & add 1/2 cup milk
Sppon mixture into pot....lid on x15 mins
