German Potato Salad

Ingredients

  • 9 slices bacon, diced
  • 1 c. onion, chopped
  • 6 T. flour
  • 2/3 c. brown sugar
  • 2 T. salt
  • 1/2 t. pepper
  • 1/3 c. cider vinegar
  • 3 c. water
  • 8 medium or 5-6 large cooked and sliced potatoes

Preparation

Step 1

Fry bacon until brown. Add onion and saute. Add next 4 ingredients and blend. Add vinegar and water. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.

Add potatoes and let simmer in sauce until flavored through.
