Ingredients
- 2 Sm. Heads Frisee Lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces
- 3 Tbsp. Olive Oil
- 2 Bosc Pears, peeled, cored & sliced into thin wedges
- 2 Sm. Shallots, finely chopped
- 2 Tbsp. White Wine Vinegar
- Salt & Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Arrange frisee in a shallow salad bowl. Heat olive oil in a med skillet over med-high heat. Add pears & cook till golden & tender, about 5-7 min. Remove pears, leaving oil in skillet. Add shallots to pan & saute about 3 min. or till softened. Whisk in vinegar & season with salt & freshly ground black pepper. Add pears & heat through. Pour warm vinaigrette mixture over greens & toss well. *Warm dressing can be made in advance & reheated gently.
