Irish Green Pea Soup

Ingredients

  • 20 oz. frozen peas
  • 3 cups of chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 Tblsp sugar
  • 2 Tblsp butter
  • 1 About 1 cup of light cream
  • Salt & Pepper

Preparation

Step 1

On stovetop, cook broth, peas, onion and sugar until veggies are soft.

Remove veggies from broth and press through sieve (or colander).

Put strained above peas back in broth, add butter and cream and dilute to desired thickness. Cook on low heat.

Add salt & pepper to taste and keep warm until ready to serve.
