Step 1

Take 12 lemons and peel rine and put in large bowl, then remove pith and qurarter remaining lemon and put in bowl. Then add 1 lt (750ml) Vodka and steep four days, periodically mixing. Then add 2/3 c simple syrup an dsteep two more days. When done store in the fridge. I MADE THIS 10/17/11 AND IT WAS VERY VERY GOOD. VARIATION**** Take 12 lemons and put the peels, 3 sprigs lavender, 2 liters light rum or vodka in container and steep for 4 weeks. Then strain into a container. Then make simple syrup of 6 c sugar and 3 c water. Let cool then mix in mixture. Store in freezer up to 1 year.
