Ingredients

  • 3 lbs lamb shanks cut into thirds
  • 1 med onion chopped
  • 1 green pepper chopped
  • 2 T paprika
  • 1 lb green beans
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • 1 med can peeled tomatoes

Preparation

Step 1

remove fat from meat. wash . braise in a large skillet. add 1/2 C water, onion and green pepper cook until inion and pepper are transparent. add paprika and blend together.
add tomato sauce and peeled tomatoes and water to cover, let simmer 2 hours. add green beans and simmer for another hour.
