Italian Soup

Ingredients

  • 5 1/2 Cups Chicken Broth
  • 1/4 cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 Medium Potato
  • 1 Pound Italian Sausage
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes(opt)

Preparation

Step 1

Combine Broth and the Cream in a sauce pan over medium heat
Slice the unpeeled potatoes into 1/4 inch slices and the quarter the slices add to the broth

grill or saute' the sausage
drill well

add the sausage to the potato mixture

add the salt and 1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes

simmer for about 2 hours

made add cheese, bacon, peas, to the base

serve with shredd cheddar on top with warm bacon bits
