PARMESAN PUFF PORK CHOPS

Ingredients
- 1 small onion
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 4 trimmed pork chops (without bone)
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1/3 cup flour
- 2/3 cup milk

Step 1
Melt margarine. Add flour and milk to make cream sauce. Add slightly beaten egg and finely diced onion. Cook over low heat until thick and bubbly. Add cheese and remove from heat. Brown chops on both sides. Cover each chop with parmesan cheese mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serves 4. Can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated.
