Ingredients
- 1/2 stick of butter
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 12 ounces of stale bread, buns or rolls
- 4 Cups of Milk
- 2 1/2 Cups of Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg or mace
- Topping
- 1/2 Cup of Whipping Creme or Sour Creme
- 1/3 Cup Sugar
- 1/2 stick of Butter

Preparation
Step 1
Taking first 1/2 stick of Butter Rub entire 1/2 stick
along the total inside of a 9 by 13 baking dish
Preheat oven to 375
Combine:
Eggs, Milk, Sugar and Nutmeg
Now add the Bread and allow to sit for 10 minutes
to soak up the ingredients
Pour into Baking Dish
Bake on 375 until almost firm
check every 20 minutes
Combine Topping ingredients
Remove Pudding from oven when almost firm
top with topping
increase oven temp to 425 degrees
return to oven and bake a
another 10 to minutes
until golden brown
Serve warm with milk or creme or Ice Cream
