Green Dip With Spooky Chips

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons pine nuts
  • 3 cups fresh basil
  • 16 ounces sour cream
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Garnish: shredded fresh basil

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat pine nuts in a small nonstick skillet over medium-low heat, stirring often, 3 to 5 minutes or until toasted.
2. Cool 15 minutes.
3. Process pine nuts, basil, and next 6 ingredients in a food processor until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides.
4. Transfer to a serving bowl.
5. Cover and chill 1 hour.
6. Store in refrigerator up to 2 days.
7. Garnish, if desired.
