Aunt Gwen’s Apple Crisp


This is for a 9 x 13 pan, may be halved for an 8 x 8

  • 6 to 8 Cortland Apples peeled and sliced thin
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • some cinnamon
  • 2 sticks of softened margarine
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1 cup of sugar



Step 1

Preheat oven to 350.

Coat the apples with half a cup of sugar and some cinnamon, can be done in a plastic bag, then put on bottom of pan.

Mush margarine, flour and sugar together to form crumb topping, sprinkle over apples.

Bake at 350 UNCOVERED for 1.5 hours.
