Ingredients
- 29 oz. can of pumpkin
- 4 eggs
- 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 1-1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix (spice or white flavored cake mix works well, too)
- 1 cup melted butter or margarine
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
1.) Beat all ingredients together except cake mix.
2.) Put in ungreased 9x12 pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix over mixture. Pour melted margarine over the cake mix and sprinkle with nuts.
3.) Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour - no longer than that.
4.) Top with whipped cream once it cools completely. Serve. Store in refrigerator.
