Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup plus 1 Tablespoon warm water 105 to 115 degrees
  • 3/4 teaspoon yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 cup of bread flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 Tablespoon olive oil

Step 1

Dough is best if prepared the day before

In a small bowl or measuring cup dissolve the yeast into the warm water let it sit for 5 minutes until the surface of the mixture looks foamy
sift together the flour and salt into a medium bowl
makea depressed dent into the flour and pour n the olive oil and yeast mixture
use a fork to stir the liquid gradually drawing in more of the flour
when all is incorporated use your hands and form into a ball
knead the dough with the heel of your hand for about 10 minutes
use a lightly floured board
using a round bowl very lightly oil sides with olive oil
and place the dough in the bowl plastic wrap bowl and place in warm place of about 2 hours or until the dough doubles in size punch down dough and pu tit back into covered bowl refrigerate over night remove from refrigerator 1 to 2 hours before you build the pizza
roll out onto bread board lightly floured roll out to a thin 10 inch crust place onto pizza pan and add toppings
