Ingredients
- 4 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 envelopes Rapid Rise yeast
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 c water
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup honey
- 3 T butter or margarine
- 1/2 c wheat bran

Preparation
Step 1
Combine 2 cups whole wheat flour, un-dissolved yeast and salt in a large bowl.
Heat water, milk, honey and butter until very warm. Add to flour mixture. Beat 2 min. at med. speed of electric mixer, scraping bowl occasionally. Add 1/2 cup flour and wheat bran; beat 2 min. at high speed. Stir in remaining flour to make stiff batter
Place in greased 9x5 loaf pan. Cover; let rise in warm place until doubled in size.
Preheat oven to 375 - bake 45 min. or until done
