Ingredients
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 2-3 lb corned beef brisket
- 1 cup apple juice
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tsp finely shredded orange peel
- 2 tsp prepared mustard
- 6 whole cloves
- 6 small cabbage wedges
Preparation
Step 1
Place onions in crock. Trim fat from brisket. Put in crock and place atop onions. IN bowl combine apple juice, sugar, orange peel, mustard and cloves; pour over brisket. Place cabbage atop brisket. Cover; cook on low 10-12 hours or on high for 5-6.
