Chinese Five Spice Cookies
- 2 c quick cooking rolled oats
- 2 c all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 t Chinese Five Spice
- 1 t (each) baking powder & cinnamon
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 c butter or margarine
- 1 c granulated sugar
- 1 c packed light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 t vanilla
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine oats, flour, five spice, baking powder, cinnamon and salt, set aside.
In large bowl, with mixer, beat butter and sugars until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla, beat until combined. Add flour mixture; beat until blended.
Place teaspoonfuls on cookie sheets, baking for 12-15 minutes.
