Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 ounces unsweetened Bakers chocolate, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- powdered sugar in a bowl for coating cookies
Preparation
Step 1
Mix sugar, margarine, vanilla and chocolate with a mixer. Stir in eggs, one at a time. Add flour, baking powder and salt.
Dough will be very thick. Cover and Refrigerate for 3 hours.
Shape pieces of dough into balls. Roll in powdered sugar and place on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.
**Makes small batches, so doubling or tripling may be needed**
