Ingredients
- 1 1/2 teaspoons plus 1/4 cup butter, divided
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 can (5oz) evaporated milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 cups miniature marshmallows
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons milk chocolate english toffee bits, divided
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation
Step 1
1. Line a 9inch square pan with foil. Grease the foil with 1 1/2 teaspoons butter; set aside.
2. In a large heavy saucepan, combine the sugar, milk, salt and remaining butter. Cook and stir over medium ehat until sugar is dissolved. Bring to a rapid boil; boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
3. Remove from the heat; stir in chocolate chips and marshmallows until melted. Fold in 1/2 cup toffee bits and vanilla. Pour into the prepared pan. Sprinkle with remaining toffee bits. Chill until firm. Using the foil, left fudge out of pan; discard foil. Cut fudge into 1 inch squares. Store in refrigerator.
