Mushroom-Sherry Sauce

Ingredients
- 8 oz. sliced mushrooms, (about 2 1/2 cups)
- 1 large shallot, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp. all purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- 1/2 cup sherry
- 1/2 cup reudced-sodium beef broth
- 2 tbsp. reduced-fat sour cream

Step 1
Cook mushrooms, shallot and pepper in oil. Cook, stirring, until the mushrooms are golden brown and release their liquid, 4 to 5 minutes.
Sprinkle with flour and cook, stirring, forr 1 min.
Add thyme, sherry and broth; bring to a boil and cook, stirring, until thick enough to coat the back of a spoon, about 3 min.
Remove from the heat; stir in sour cream.
Serve over steaks.
