Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting hands
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar for after baking

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. In a large bowl, beat 1/2 cup powdered sugar, butter and vanilla until light and fluffly. Lightly spoon in flour into measuring cup; level off. Add flour, pecans and salt; mix until dough forms. shape into 1-inch balls. Place 1 inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 325 degrees F. for 15 to 20 minutes or until set but not brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheets. Cool slightly; roll in 1/2 cup poweded sugar. Cool completely. Reroll in powdered sugar.
