Pecan Pie

This is the recipe that I've used for years...

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c Mrs Butterworth maple flavored syrup
  • 1/4 c sugar
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c pecans
  • 2 T flour
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 3 T butter

Preparation

Step 1

Bring syrup to boil in a 1 1/2 qt sauce pan. Boil gently 8 minutes uncovered. Cool 15 minutes.

Cream butter, blend in sugar, flour, and salt. Add eggs, syrup, and vanilla. Pour over nuts in pie shell.

Bake at 375 for 40 minutes or more.
