Ingredients

  • FILLING:
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup butter (2 sticks)
  • 4 eggs beaten
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 6 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp grated lemon zest
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • GLAZE:
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven at 350

CRUST:
Combine salt, flour, and sugar. Cut in the butter till crumbly.
Press into buttered 13x9 pan.
Bake for 25 minutes.

FILLING:
Mix eggs with sugar, juice, and rind.
Stir in flour and baking powder into egg mixture.
Pour over crust.
Bake 25 minutes.
Cool.
